The Diploma in Early Childhood Education programme introduces students to the knowledge and experience application applicable for children from different cultures and with differing abilities. It is also designed for practicing early childhood educators and childcare providers who want to expand their academic knowledge and enhance their professional skills.

It is specially tailored for those who wish to be early childhood educators and childcare providers intending to acquire a recognised qualification in early childhood education. The programme prepares students to be capable of delivering effective interaction to children in any learning situation; using various effective teaching and learning methods in a conducive learning environment.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Our published entry requirements are a guide only and our decision will be based on your overall suitability for the course as well as whether you meet the minimum entry requirements.

A pass in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or its equivalent with a minimum 3 credits in any subject or its equivalent; or
A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum grade C (GP 2.0) in any subjects or its equivalents; or
A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade Maqbul; or
A pass in SKM Level 3 in Early Child Care / Preschool and pass SPM with a minimum of 1 credit in any subject; or
A certificate in Early Childhood Education (Level 3, MQF) or its equivalent; or
A certificate in any field (Level 3, MQF) or its equivalent
Other qualifications which recognized by the Government of Malaysia.
