Overview of Bachelor Of Science With Honours (Human Resource Development) in University of Sarawak Sarawak UNIMAS Malaysia
The Bachelor of Science with Honours (Human Resource Development) program at University of Malaysia Sarawak is accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and National Accreditation Board and recognized by the Public Service Department. This program is designed to produce human resource professionals who can assist organizations transform its human capital in realizing its policies and strategies. It is also aimed at producing innovative and adaptive human resource professionals in maximizing the effectiveness of human potentials in an organization. In the pursuit of achieving the above objectives, students are exposed to various disciplines including the aspect of cognition and use of technology to assist in improving human potentials in an organization. Besides, students will be exposed to real working environment through their industrial training and visit.
Entry Requirements.
STPM CATEGORY
Obtained at least Grade C (NGMP 2.00) at STPM level in any two (2) subjects (excluding General Studies)
Obtained at least passed Grade E at SPM level in the
following subjects:
? Mathematics / Additional Mathematics
? English
Obtained at least Level 2 (Band 2) in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET)
MATRICULATING / BASIC CATEGORY
Obtained at least Grade C (2.00) in any two (2) subjects at the Matriculation / Foundation level.
Obtained at least passed Grade E at SPM level in the following subjects:
? Mathematics / Additional Mathematics
? English
Obtained at least Level 2 (Band 2) in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET)
CATEGORY STEM
Obtained at least the Rank of Jayyid in the Sijil
Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) Examination
Obtained at least passed Grade E at SPM level in the following subjects:
? Mathematics / Additional Mathematics
? English
Obtained at least Level 2 (Band 2) in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET)
CATEGORY DIPLOMA
Possess a Diploma in a related field or other qualification recognized by the UNIMAS Senate by obtaining a CGPA of at least 2.00
Include academic transcripts from the first semester to the final semester
Obtained at least Grade C (NGMP 2.00) at STPM level in any two (2) subjects (excluding General Studies)
Obtained at least Grade C (2.00) in any two (2) subjects at the Matriculation / Foundation level.
Obtained at least the Rank of Jayyid in the Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) Examination and
Obtained at least passed Grade E at SPM level in the following subjects:
? Mathematics / Additional Mathematics
? English
Obtained at least Level 2 (Band 2) in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET)
EQUIVALENT CATEGORY
Have Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) / equivalent with credit in Bahasa Melayu / Bahasa Malaysia or
credit in Malay / Bahasa Malaysia paper in July and passed in the subjects of history (SPM 2013 and above); Dan
Have a GCE A Level qualification with at least a Grade C in any of the following 2 subjects:
? Mathematics / Physics / Biology / Chemistry / Computing / History
Or
Pass the International Baccalaureate (IB) with a minimum score of 26 and get at least a score of 4 in any two (2) subjects at the High Level (HL) or Standard Level (SL) level. Or
Have an Australian Matriculation Program (AUSMAT) with at least Grade C for any 3 subjects And
Obtained at least level 2 (Band 2) in MUET test / Band 5.5 in IELTS test / score 500 in TOEFL PBT test / score 59 in TOEFL IBT test
