This three-year diploma in nursing program is a pre-registration course aims to train students to be a nurse practitioner. The first cohort of this program had graduated in 2011 and AIMST graduates had secured high employability locally and internationally. AIMST University aspires to produce professional and efficient nurses to provide optimal health care to the community. The program is designed to nurture caring, competent and professional nurses to meet complex human needs in a competitive global market. Student who graduated from this program and pass the board licensure examination will be registered with Malaysia Nursing Board and fit to practice as registered nurse in public and private healthcare sector.

The Diploma in Nursing course at AIMST University is a structured, student-centred programme approved by the Nursing Board of Malaysia and Ministry of Higher Education.
Theoretical learning is supported with practical experience in hospital and community settings. Clinical training is conducted at Government & Private Hospitals and State Health Clinics identified by the Ministry of Health.
