With our Bachelor of Accounting (Hons), we shape our students into professionals that are integral to every business with the most competent skills in the industry. Professionally recognised by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), graduates will be exempt from 9 out of 14 modules to become qualified chartered accountants.

Additional Requirements
Malaysian University English Test (MUET) Band 2
*Credit in Mathematics and a pass in English at SPM level
NOTES
Specific requirements at SPM level can be waived should the grades obtained at the STPM / STAM / Diploma / Matriculation / Foundation are equivalent or higher.
International Students
* This requirement could be exempted if the qualification includes Mathematics subject and the student achieved a grade that is equivalent to or above the requirement at SPM level or its equivalent.
English Competency Requirements
All international students are bound to the English Competency requirement set by the University and the Malaysian Qualification Agency except those who are:

ASSESSMENTS
Assessments under the Bachelor in Accounting (Honours) programme are varied; they are based on either full coursework (100%) or a combination of coursework and final examination. The most common combination to be found is 60% coursework and 40% for final examination. Classes are held face-to-face, and include lectures and tutorials (offline and online). Our students are expected to demonstrate their understanding through several forms of assessments, including but not limited to discussions, essays, reports, quizzes, projects and written tests.
Students are expected to undergo seven (7) long semesters and two (2) short semesters, over a span of three years. In the final semester, students will go for a 16-week Industrial training undertaking any role relevant to accounting. At the end of the programme, student would have completed 125 credits and graduate with a MQA-accredited Bachelor’s degree.
