Vision International College is an established and upcoming college in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. We offer a range of Certificate, Diploma to Bachelor's Degree programmes ranging from Health Sciences disciplines (Nursing, Ultrasonography, Medical Imaging, Opticianry etc) to Business (Business, Accounting, Logistics Management).
Recently, we have launched 3 new franchised programmes from the University of Cumbria, UK (B.Sc. (Hons) Criminology, with Policing & Investigations; B.A. (Hons) Business, Accounting & Finance; B.A. (Hons) International Business Management). Students have the option to study the programme entirely in Malaysia (3+0) or on twinning mode (2+1 and 1+2).
Programmes offered by Vision College are approved by the Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA) and the Ministry of Education (MOE). The college itself is accredited with ISO 9001 and is accorded a five-star rating by MyQuest.
Our lecturers are highly qualified and competent in their fields of expertise with extensive experience in academia as well as clinical and professional practices. We are steadfast in our commitment to providing quality teaching and learning opportunities with an emphasis on independent learning where students perform exploratory classes and research to enhance their knowledge.
Senior faculty members from our Partner Universities participate in yearly quality assurance reviews to ensure that we are continuously benchmarked against global standards. Additionally, we have arrangements with our Partner Universities for visiting lecturers to teach specialized subjects. We are confident in producing well-trained professionals by providing close attention to each and every student in a close-knit and friendly environment.
Our Learning Philosophy is built on its core values aimed at developing our students to become knowledgeable, competent, and caring professionals whilst maintaining exemplary ethical behavior who are critical thinkers, reflective yet proactive.
Our active Corporate Social Responsibility unit arranges many activities, providing an opportunity for our students in engaging and serving the community. This allows our students to translate knowledge gained in classrooms into health education to the public, enhance communication skills and strengthen professional and technical skills in real-world environments. Our College is furnished with a cutting-edge ultrasound diagnostic equipment system, an X-ray system, a dark room, a well-equipped learning resource center, laboratories, a nursing simulation ward, and medical connectivity with all our internationally medical allied and affiliated centers.
Our students have the added advantage of patient contact during clinical sessions in our very own diagnostic and eye care centers. We are the first IPTS in Malaysia to offer such facilities, providing further close integration of real practice with education.
We have established partnerships with leading hospitals in the country to provide its staff and students with continuous and extensive real-life clinical experience. These hospitals are renowned as tertiary centers with ultra-modern facilities including PET-CT, MRI, CT Scan, Ultrasound, and X-ray facilities. We believe providing relevant clinical exposure and/or industrial placements will better prepare our students to become healthcare professionals, giving them an advantage in the employment market.
We offer hospital sponsorship to qualified students, where a solid background in English, Mathematics and Science will be an added advantage . The hospitals range from medium to large ones and are located throughout Malaysia.
Our strategically-located campus houses complete facilities, including lecture halls, resource centres, dining and recreation halls, computer and science labs, state-of-the-art diagnostic and eyecare centers, and many other enhanced amenities.
A host of sports, social, and community activities are regularly organized to promote a healthy lifestyle and enhance our students’ wholesome campus experience. Our student hostels are all located within walking distance of our College. They are well equipped with furniture and appliances, designed to provide our students with a comfortable living environment.
