Besides being qualified for teaching jobs, those who earn a degree in education can find careers in related roles, such as adult education or training in corporate environments or the non-profit sector. Due to growing demands in critical areas like Mathematics, Science, Communication Skills, and English as a Second Language, this specially-designed education programme emphasises teacher/instructor-led preparation in these fields. With exposure to current technology trends in teaching and learning applications, our students can create, participate and interact with instructors and students through video conferencing as part of their coursework. This programme also features social applications that allow students to interact and collaborate with peers through an online community site or virtual environment, simultaneously building technology skills that are essential for leading and guiding learners in the classroom.

ENTRY REQUIREMENT:   

STPM - A pass in STPM or its equivalent with minimum of grade C (GP 2.00) in any 2 Subjects

A LEVEL - A pass in A Level with a minimum of Grade D in TWO (2) Subjects;

STAM - A Pass in STAM with a minimum grade of Jayyid;

UEC - A Pass UEC with a minimum grade B in three (5) subjects;

O - LEVEL - A Pass in O Level with atleast Grade C in three (3) subject, OR

Diploma -Any qualification equivalent to Diploma or Advanced Diploma (Level 4 or 5, MQF )

IB - A Pass International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma with minimum score of 30 points;

OTHER  - Any Qualification equivalent to certificate (Level 3, MQF) 

1 . Diploma Executive UM 

2. Diploma Kolej Vokasional (DVM)

Pass DVM in related fields AND Pass SVM  with :

• An academic  CGPA of 2.00 or higher 
• A Vocational CGPA of 2.67 or higher and competent in alll vocational modules:
• A credit Bahasa Melayu (SVM 1104) 

**Cohort 2013 onwards also need to get an exemption from obtaining a pass grade Sejarah at SPM Level 

INTRENATIONAL 

TOEFL 550

IELTS band 5.5

a minimum Grade B2 (162) in First Cambridge English (FCE) or MUET (Band 3) or other equivalent English Qualification recognised by MQA/ Malaysian Government

The validity period of TOEFL and IELTS is TWO (2) years from the date of the award. 

Note:-

Conditional offer letter will be issued to international students who has not met the English Profeciency Requirements. The student have to achieve English Proficiency Requirement within a period of 12 months.
