Overview of Bachelor of Information Technology in Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Sultan Malaysia

ENTRY REQUIREMENST

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and Information Systems

i.Passed Matriculation study or Basic Course with minimum CGPA 2.0 and credit in Mathematics at SPM level or equivalent;

OR

ii. Passed STPM Certificate or equivalent, with a minimum Grade C (NGMP 2.00) in any 2 subjects and credit in Mathematics at SPM level or equivalent;

OR

iii. Diploma in Computer Science OR Software Engineering OR Information Technology OR Information System or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 and credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent;

OR

v. Any Diploma in science and technology or business studies with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 will be accepted depending on the rigorous internal assessment process and credit in mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent.

Diploma candidates who have a CGPA of less than 2.50 but more than 2.00 with credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent can be admitted depending on a thorough internal assessment process.

Note: Mathematics credit conditions at SPM level for candidates (i), (ii), (iii) and (iv) can be excluded if the qualification contains Mathematics subject and its achievement is equivalent to / more than the credit requirement of the subject at SPM level.

Candidates who get credit in computer-related subjects at SPM or STPM level or its equivalent can be given major consideration.

International students should have good proof of English oral and written proficiency for example a scale of 6.0 for the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) or its equivalent.
