Overview of Foundation in Science in Taylor's University Malaysia

The Foundation in Science programme is specially designed to equip students with a strong foundation in STEM subjects needed for transition from secondary studies to the tertiary level. It is a comprehensive and flexible programme with a dynamic learning environment, which encourages two-way interaction between students and lecturers. Learning also takes place beyond the classroom via community services, interaction with researchers, participation in competitions, and many more. 

PROGRAMME STRUCTURE

The curriculum of Taylor’s Foundation in Science is designed to equip students with fundamental knowledge and skills in science. It also stimulates critical thinking and nurture interests through interactive workshops and experiments.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

• Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM)

Pass with min. 5 credits including Mathematics and 2 Science subjects

• O-Level

Pass with min. 5 credits including Mathematics and 2 Science subjects

• Unified Examination Certificate (UEC)

Pass with min. 3Bs including Mathematics, English and 1 Science subject

• Other Qualifications

Students with other qualifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis
