Course Intake
Overview
The Diploma in Information Technology is offered to cultivate the Information Technology (IT) generation to fit the rapid growth of the IT industry and to fulfil the high demand for its professions in Malaysia and ASEAN in the coming years. The programme aims to provide students with fundamental knowledge, practical application, and problem-solving skills to perform as effective Information Technology practitioners. The students will be able to develop the ability to apply information technology knowledge and skills in analysing, designing and developing information technology solutions.
Programme Length: 2 Years 4 Months
Programme Credit: 90 Credit Hours
Intakes: January / May / September
Entry Requirement
SPM: Pass with at least Credit in any 3 subjects inclusive of Mathematics
O-level: minimum 3 Credits(C), including Mathematics
UEC: Pass with a minimum of Grade B in at least three (3) subjects inclusive of Mathematics and a Pass in English
STPM: Pass with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.0) AND a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent
A-level: Pass with 1 subject (D) AND Credit ( C ) in Mathematics at SPM level
STAM: Pass with a minimum Maqbul AND a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent
SKM or SKK or Certificate (MQF Level 3): Pass and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent
Other International Entry Requirement:
Others: Any other equivalent qualification recognised by the Malaysia Government which will be considered on a case by case basis

* A Learning Assistance Sessions (LAS) (from Week 6 to Week 12) will be provided at no cost if the student failed the English assessment in week 4
