Alongside PR, the programme provides strong training in event management, covering event planning and coordination, budgeting, sponsorship management, logistics, venue management, risk assessment, protocol and etiquette, and post-event evaluation.
Practical learning is a major focus. Students participate in press release writing, media pitching, mock press conferences, campaign planning, social media content creation, and live or simulated event execution. Many programmes integrate industry projects where students plan conferences, exhibitions, product launches, festivals, corporate events, or community campaigns. Internships with PR agencies, media houses, event companies, NGOs, or corporate communication departments are often mandatory.
