Overview of Foundation in Science in University of Sarawak Sarawak UNIMAS Malaysia

International Foundation in Science is a new foundation program with a robust and flexible entry requirements, which expand the opportunity for SPM (or equivalent) leavers to further their studies at the tertiary level. Upon successful completion of the program, foundation graduates will further their studies in various Bachelor Degree programmes offered by UNIMAS. For Malaysian applicants, they will be eligible to apply Doctor of Medicine but subjected to its own special entry requirement. The programme offered two types of modules for applicant to select: either life sciences module or physical sciences module

Entry Requirements

• Pass in Sijil Peperiksaan Malaysia (SPM) with a minimum of Grade C in FIVE (5) subjects including Bahasa Melayu and a pass in History.

• Obtain a minimum grade C in the following subjects

  • Biology
  • Mathematics
  • Additional Mathematics
  • Physics
  • Chemistry, and
  • English

• Obtain a minimum grade C in any ONE of the following subjects

  • Biology
  • Civil Engineering Studies
  • Electrical and Electronic Engineering Studies
  • Mechanical Engineering Studies

  • Computer Science
  • Engineering Drawing
  • Computer Graphics
  • Multimedia Production
