Entry Requirements.

STPM CATEGORY (SCIENCE FLOW)

Obtained at least Grade C (NGMP 2.00) at STPM level in the following subjects:

• Physics;
• Mathematics T; dan
• Biology/Chemistry

And

Obtained at least Grade C credit at SPM level in the following subjects:

• Mathematics / Additional Mathematics

And

Obtained at least passed Grade E at SPM level in the following subjects:

• English

And

Obtained at least Level 2 (Band 2) in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET)

And

Candidates do not have vision impairment and color blindness which complicates practical work.

And

Pass the interview test set by the University.

MATRICULATING / BASIC CATEGORY (SCIENCE / ENGINEERING / TECHNICAL FLOW)

Obtained at least CGPA 2.00;
And
Obtained at least Grade C (2.00) at Matriculation / Foundation level in the following subjects:
? Mathematics
? Any two (2) following subjects Physics / Engineering Physics / Biology / Chemistry / Engineering Chemistry / Basic Engineering

And
Obtained at least Grade C credit at SPM level in the following subjects:
? Mathematics / Additional Mathematics
And
Obtained at least passed Grade E at SPM level of the following subjects:
? English
And
Obtained at least Level 2 (Band 2) in Malaysian University English Test (MUET)
And
Candidates do not have vision impairment and color blindness which complicates practical work.
And
Pass the interview test set by the University.

DIPLOMA CATEGORY (SCIENCE FLOW)

Possess a Diploma in a related field or other qualification recognized by the UNIMAS Senate by obtaining a CGPA of at least 2.00;

And Include academic transcripts from the first semester to the final semester;

Or Obtained at least Grade C (NGMP 2.00) at STPM level in the following subjects:

? Physics;

? Mathematics T; dan

? Biology/Chemistry

Or

Obtained at least Grade C (2.00) at the Matriculation / Foundation level in the following subjects:

? Mathematics

? Any two (2) subjects following Physics / Engineering Physics / Biology / Chemistry / Engineering Chemistry / Basic Engineering

And

Obtained at least Grade C credit at SPM level in the following subjects:

Career Prospects.

After graduated from this programme (which is equivalent to LAM Part 1), graduates are eligible to work as an Assisant Architect in architectural firms. Graduates can also opt for taking it further by pursuing Architecture LAM Part 2 programme, which qualifies them to take LAM Part 3 (Professional Architect with an 'Ar.' title) in the future. It is also important to note that having a degree in Architecture also means having a very significant knowledge that transcends across other major disciplines, particularly in the design and construction domains. It is common to see architectural graduates excel in other industries, thanks to the multifaceted nature of the discipline itself
