• Diploma Pascasiswazah Pendidikan (Pendidikan Islam) DPPPI adalah kursus dua semester yang meliputi amali praktikal.
• Menyediakan platform formal bagi para siswazah untuk memperlengkapkan diri dengan kemahiran ikhtisas yang melayakkan mereka untuk menjadi guru yang diiktiraf.
• Membentuk guru yang berkemahiran dalam ilmu akademik dan pedagogi dalam disiplin Pendidikan Islam yang bestari dan berketrampilan dalam pembelajaran dan pengajaran.
• Melatih guru dalam bidang Pendidikan Islam yang dilengkapkan dengan kemahiran-kemahiran khusus yang sangat diperlukan bagi membentuk pelajar yang syumul dan sejajar dengan Falsafah Pendidikan Kebangsaan serta membina masyarakat Islam yang berpegang teguh kepada ajaran Islam dalam meneruskan kelangsungan pembangunan negara.
• Memupuk personaliti guru yang unggul, berketrampilan, berdaya saing dan menjadi penggerak kepada perubahan minda masyarakat dalam memahami konsep Islam yang sifatnya progresif dan semasa.
• Program ini ditawarkan secara pasaran terbuka (open market).

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Passed Bachelor's Degree with Honors from a local IPTA or recognized by the Government of Malaysia with a CGPA of at least 2.75 or Jayyid rank;

or

Other qualifications recognized as equivalent by the Government of Malaysia and approved by the university Senate;

or

Final semester students with a Bachelor's Degree in IPTA recognized by the Government of Malaysia can also apply;

and

Passed the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) / equivalent with credit in Bahasa Melayu / Bahasa Malaysia or credit in Malay / Bahasa Malaysia July Paper;

and

Passed Mathematics / Additional Mathematics at SPM or Mathematics July paper;

and

Pass the Malaysian Educators Selection Inventory Test (MEdSI) and the interview set.

• SPECIFIC REQUIREMNETS

Passed Bachelor's Degree with Honors in the field of Islamic Studies or related from any Local IPTA or recognized by the Government of Malaysia with a CGPA of at least 2.75 or Jayyid rank;

and

Obtained at least credit in the subject of Higher Arabic / Communication Arabic and any TWO (2) from the following subjects at SPM level;

• Islamic studies
• Tassawur Islam
• Islamic Sharia Education
• Al-Quran and as-Sunnah Education;

and

Obtained at least honors in another subject at SPM level;               

and

At least pass English at SPM level.

• ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

1. Candidates who apply must be physically fit, not suffer from mental or physical illness and be able to follow the programs designed for this program of study.
2. Candidates should check the website http://www.jpa.gov.my to ensure that the degree they have is PSD recognized.
