Course Overview
This programme provides students with fundamental knowledge and practical skills of computer science especially in programming, networking and software engineering. Throughout the program there is also emphasis on how students could blend their technical expertise with management know-how in order to support business decision-making and to communicate effectively in commercial and business environment.
In later years of study, students will have the opportunity to major in one of these selected areas:
- Data Analytics
- Cyber Security
- Enterprise Systems
- Software Quality

Course Overview

Entry Requirement of Bachelor of Science Hons in Petroleum Geoscience in Universiti Teknologi Petronas UTP Malaysia
Local Students
Other equivalent qualification recognised by the Malaysian Government may also be considered.
Malaysian students must fulfill the following additional requirements:
- Candidate must be a Malaysian citizen
- Application must be made using the final examination semester results
- At least Grade C (credit in Bahasa Inggeris in SPM OR BAND 3 in Malaysian University English Test (MUET)
International Students
Other equivalent qualification recognised by the Malaysian Government may also be considered.
International students must fulfill the following additional requirements:
- Application must be made using the final semester examination results
- Minimum TOEFL iBT score of 60 OR IELTS score of 5.0 (Engineering Programs), 6.0 (non-Engineering programs). OR Official 'English as the Medium of Instruction letter from the previous institution.
