Course Overview

The Diploma in Medical & Health Science, formerly known as the Diploma in Medical Assistant, prepares students with a strong foundation in basic medical sciences and professional modules including medicine, emergency care, surgery, public health, pharmacology, behavioural sciences and nursing. The programme equips students with the knowledge, skills and professional attitude needed to adapt to the evolving medical field, enabling graduates to work as Medical Assistants or Assistant Medical Officers who can understand, diagnose and treat simple ailments, as well as provide care in both wellness and disease settings.

Entry Requirements

Applicants must hold SPM (or equivalent) with at least five credits including Bahasa Melayu, Science, Mathematics, two other subjects, and a pass in English. International applicants must have GCE O-Level (or equivalent) with five credits including Science or Mathematics subjects, and meet English proficiency requirements of MUET Band 3 or an equivalent CEFR Mid B1 qualification.
