Course Overview

Diploma in Radiography is a healthcare programme focused on the science of medical imaging and diagnostic procedures. It encompasses the production of high-quality images of internal body structures using both ionizing and non-ionizing radiation, including X-rays, gamma rays, ultrasound, and magnetic fields. These imaging techniques play a vital role in the detection, diagnosis, and management of various medical conditions. The primary aim of the programme is to produce proficient, competent, and highly skilled radiographers who meet international standards of practice. To achieve this goal, the curriculum integrates comprehensive theoretical knowledge with hands-on practical training and skills development. Students are exposed to a range of educational activities, including classroom instruction, laboratory practice, and clinical-based learning, ensuring they develop the technical expertise, professional competence, and ethical awareness required to support quality healthcare services and contribute effectively to the medical imaging profession.

Entry Requirements

Applicants must be Malaysian citizens. Possession of the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with a minimum of five (5) credits, including Bahasa Melayu / Bahasa Malaysia, and a pass in the History subject. A minimum of Grade C at the SPM level in the following subjects: Physics, Biology or Chemistry, English Language, and Mathematics. Applicants must be physically fit, with no limb, speech, visual, hearing, or colour-vision impairments that may affect programme requirements.
