Course Overview
Bachelor of Polymer Technology with Honours was first offered in the October 2021/2022 academic session and has received a quality certificate from the Malaysian Qualifications Agency under reference MQA/PA14308. The programme is offered as a full-time course using an apprenticeship-based mode of study. The duration of the programme is three and a half years, structured across seven semesters, comprising four semesters conducted at the university and three semesters carried out within relevant polymer industries, including 24 weeks of industrial training. Teaching and learning activities are delivered through a combination of lectures, tutorials, practical sessions, presentations, projects, apprenticeship training, and industrial placements. This industry-integrated approach equips students with strong theoretical knowledge and hands-on technical skills in polymer technology, preparing graduates to meet industry demands and pursue professional careers in the polymer and manufacturing sectors.(Show More)
