Course Overview
Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours) is designed to produce graduates with a strong foundation in pharmaceutical sciences and clinical practice, complemented by an entrepreneurial mindset in pharmacy. In response to the increasing saturation of pharmacist positions in the public sector, the programme emphasizes the exploration of diverse pharmacy career pathways and aims to cultivate a culture of innovation and job creation among graduates. The curriculum provides early and continuous exposure to community pharmacy practice through regular retail pharmacy attachments, enabling students to understand their professional roles and responsibilities within the community. Clinical training is further strengthened during the clinical years, where students gain hands-on experience in managing medication-related issues and patient care. These experiences are reinforced through hospital and clinical clerkships, ensuring graduates develop the competence, confidence, and professional readiness required to contribute effectively to healthcare services and the evolving pharmacy profession.(Show More)
