- A pass in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM)/ equivalent qualification with honours in Bahasa Melayu / Bahasa Malaysia or honours in Bahasa Melayu / Bahasa Malaysia Paper July
- A pass the Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum of CGPA 2.50
