Entry Requirements
STPM Category Applicants must have passed the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or an equivalent qualification with honours in Bahasa Melayu / Bahasa Malaysia, including the Bahasa Melayu / Bahasa Malaysia July Paper, where applicable. Candidates are required to have passed the Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum CGPA of 2.50. At the STPM level, applicants must obtain at least Grade C (NGMP 2.00) in Business Studies, Economics, or Accounting, as well as Bahasa Melayu or Communicative Malay Literature. In addition, candidates must have achieved a minimum of Grade C at the SPM level in one Islamic Studies–related subject (such as Pendidikan Syariah Islamiah, Pendidikan Al-Quran dan Al-Sunnah, Pendidikan Islam, Bahasa Arab, Tasawwur Islam, Hifz Al-Quran, Maharat Al-Quran, Usul Al-Din, Al-Syariah, Manahij Al-Ulum Al-Islamiah, Al-Adab wa Al-Balaghah, or Moral Education), Mathematics or Additional Mathematics, English, and one subject from Principles of Accounting, Economics, Business, Science, Additional Science, Physics, Chemistry, or Biology. Applicants must also obtain a minimum of MUET Band 2. Matriculation / Foundation Category Applicants must have passed the SPM or an equivalent qualification with honours in Bahasa Melayu / Bahasa Malaysia, including the Bahasa Melayu / Bahasa Malaysia July Paper, where applicable. Candidates must have successfully completed a Matriculation or Foundation programme with a minimum CGPA of 2.50. Applicants are required to obtain at least Grade C in the relevant specialisation subjects at the Matriculation or Foundation level, including Islamic Studies–related subjects (such as Pendidikan Syariah Islamiah, Pendidikan Al-Quran dan Al-Sunnah, Pendidikan Islam, Bahasa Arab, Tasawwur Islam, Hifz Al-Quran, Maharat Al-Quran, Usul Al-Din, Al-Syariah, Manahij Al-Ulum Al-Islamiah, Al-Adab wa Al-Balaghah, or Moral Education), Mathematics or Additional Mathematics, English, and one subject from Principles of Accounting, Economics, Business, Science, Additional Science, Physics, Chemistry, or Biology. A minimum of MUET Band 2 is also required. Diploma and Equivalent Category Applicants must have passed the SPM or an equivalent qualification with honours in Bahasa Melayu / Bahasa Malaysia, including the Bahasa Melayu / Bahasa Malaysia July Paper, where applicable. Candidates must have graduated with a Diploma or other equivalent qualification recognised by the Malaysian Government and approved by the University Senate, with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, preferably in Accounting, Business, Management, or Administration. At the SPM level, applicants must obtain at least Grade C in one Islamic Studies–related subject (including Pendidikan Syariah Islamiah, Pendidikan Al-Quran dan Al-Sunnah, Pendidikan Islam, Bahasa Arab, Tasawwur Islam, Hifz Al-Quran, Maharat Al-Quran, Usul Al-Din, Al-Syariah, Manahij Al-Ulum Al-Islamiah, Al-Adab wa Al-Balaghah, or Moral Education), Mathematics or Additional Mathematics, English, and one subject from Principles of Accounting, Economics, Business, Science, Additional Science, Physics, Chemistry, or Biology. Applicants must also achieve a minimum of MUET Band 2.
