Doctor of Philosophy (Ethnomusicology) at UPSI University The Doctor of Philosophy (Ethnomusicology) at UPSI University offers advanced research training for students interested in the cultural study of music. Hosted by Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI), Malaysia, this PhD programme examines music as a social practice, exploring musical traditions, performance cultures, and the relationship between music, identity, and community in diverse settings. Entry Requirements

A master’s degree from the Sultan Idris Education University or any institution of higher learning recognised by the Senate; and Fullfilment of specific entry requirements imposed by the faculty concerned, as the case may be. English Language Testing System (IELTS) / IELTS Online score of 5.5.
