Course Overview

Bachelor of Education (Information Technology) with Honours programme is designed to produce graduates who are knowledgeable, creative, innovative, and competitive in the field of educational information technology. The programme equips students with strong technical and pedagogical competencies, enabling them to design, develop, and implement effective digital solutions that enhance teaching and learning processes. It focuses on mastery of educational IT knowledge, teaching skills, communication, and technology-based information management, while also emphasising the development of soft skills, social responsibility, and entrepreneurial capabilities. Students undertake a comprehensive range of courses covering both education and IT core areas, including computer programming, data structures and algorithms, computer organisation and architecture, database systems, computer networks, Internet of Things (IoT), mobile application design and development, digital entrepreneurship, and information technology teaching, ensuring alignment with current trends in digital education and technology integration.

Entry Requirements

A minimum CGPA of 2.75 in STPM / A-Levels / 12th Class, and an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) / IELTS Online score of 5.5.
