Course Overview

Bachelor of Communication (Content Development) with Honours programme offered by the Faculty of Language and Communication (FBK), Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) is designed to meet the demands of the digital era by producing graduates who are creative, strategic, and industry-ready in content development across multiple media platforms. The programme focuses on planning, producing, and managing digital content for communication, marketing, education, and entertainment, covering areas such as creative writing, visual communication design, digital media strategy, storytelling, audio-visual production, and content analytics. Delivered through a project-based learning approach, students gain hands-on experience by creating real industry-relevant outputs including videos, podcasts, interactive media, and social media content, supported by collaboration with creative media, marketing, and corporate organisations. Graduates of this programme emerge not only as skilled media practitioners but also as critical thinkers and ethical content creators, equipped with strong communication, analytical, and digital competencies to thrive in the rapidly evolving creative and media industries.

Entry Requirements

A minimum CGPA of 2.75 in STPM / A-Levels / 12th Class, and an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) / IELTS Online score of 5.5.
