Overview

The Bachelor of Accounting at MIU provides a comprehensive foundation for students to get a strong start for a career in accounting and finance. The program is designed to teach students the foundations of Corporate Accounting and Accounting Systems.

Besides fundamental training in science, mathematics and humanities, students will be exposed to the various student development activities designed to improve their critical thinking and advance their personal development.

MIU is a partner with CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountant). The partnership, benchmarks MIU as a respected institution in Malaysia that offers recognised accounting and business programmes.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

ENTRY LEVEL	ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
LOCAL STUDENTS: MUET Band 2 INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS: Require minimum score of 5.5 for IELTS or 500 for TOEFL or its equivalent
STPM/A-LEVEL	Pass with minimum of Grade C+ in 2 subjects; AND a credit in Maths and pass in English at SPM or its equivalent
UEC	Pass with minimum of Grade B in 5 subjects including Mathematics
MATRICULATION / FOUNDATION	Matriculation/Foundation qualification with a CGPA of 2.50 out of 4.00, or any equivalent qualification; AND a credit in Maths and pass in English at SPM or its equivalent
DIPLOMA	Pass Diploma in Accounting or relevant field with minimum CGPA of 2.50 out of 4.00; AND a credit in Maths and pass in English at SPM or its equivalent
OTHERS	Any other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Governments
