Overview of Master of Clinical Pharmacy in Management and Science University Malaysia

Master of Clinical Pharmacy is ideal for pharmacy graduates who want to have experience in clinical pharmacy practice in Malaysia as well as a postgraduate degree. It provides students with the advanced clinical knowledge, skills and intuition necessary to pharmaceutical care. You will be introduced to new developments in clinical pharmacy and pharmacy practice, and hone your skills in the clinical skills laboratory. This programme puts special emphasis on interpretation and effective use of clinical and laboratory data, as well as examination of evidence from scientific literature in identifying and managing drug-related problems. The emphasis on clinical practice and the integration of evidence-based medicine, lend strength to the programme.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

(i) A Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy with minimum CGPA of 2.75, as accepted by the HEP Senate;

OR

(ii) A Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy not meeting CGPA of 2.75 but above CGPA of 2.50, can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment;

OR

(iii) A Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy not meeting CGPA of 2.50, can be accepted subject to a minimum ten years working experience in relevant field
