Overview of Bachelor in English Language and Literature Studies (Honours) in Management and Science University Malaysia

A study of the English language provides the perfect context for the study of literature, which in turn develops sophisticated reading skills. At Management and Science University (MSU), you will be introduced to general linguistics, sociolinguistics, and literature in English; the structure of English, literary stylistics, and English phonetics and phonology; professional English, English for occupational purposes, and creative writing; as well as prose analysis, theatre appreciation, and media literacy. A host of literary styles will also be explored, from Asian and Malaysian to American and contemporary.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) or equivalent, with Grade C (or CGPA 2.00) in any two (2) subjects; or
 

Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM), with Jayyid; or
 

Diploma (MQF Level 4) or Matriculation/Foundation or equivalent, with CGPA 2.00; or
 

Other qualifications recognized as equivalent by the Government of Malaysia.
