Overview
The beauty therapy industry is highly competitive and constantly seeking staff who not only posses a wide range of practical skills but also an understanding of commercial aspects. As a student on the Bachelor in Beauty and Hair Management programme at MSU, you will be exposed to the basic, advanced and contemporary techniques in beauty therapies as well as developing your soft skills in the area of communication and leadership. This programme will provide you with a strong foundation for a variety of future careers in beauty therapy including managing a salon or spa, starting your own business, or marketing a company's beauty products. Industrial training at the end of the programme provides you with real-world business skills and readies you for a career in beauty and hair management.
Entry Requirements
You need to have TWO (2) Full Passes at STPM/A level OR an MSU Diploma in a related field OR an MSU Foundation Certificate.
Bachelor (Hons) in Beauty Management (BBY) is a three-and-a-half-year career-focused industry-developed programme of MSU’s School of Hospitality and Creative Arts (SHCA).
