This programme is considered a specialised programme and others students the opportunity to gain the skills and qualifications necessary to become a Technical Quantity Surveyor. Skills taught include: drawing analysis and specifications, labour and material utilisation, quantifying and scheduling, administration of estimates, pricing of trades, preparing tenders, managing progress payments, and preparation of the final account.

This programme has good employment prospects within Malaysia and internationally. Generally, graduates may either choose to pursue a degree upon completion of Diploma or seek employment as assistant Quantity Surveyors for contract companies with a private agency or with the government.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

1. SPM / SPMV / O-level / Equivalent: Pass with minimum 3 credits (Grade C) including Mathematics, Bahasa Malaysia or English; or
2. UEC: Pass with minimum Grade B in 3 subjects including Mathematics and 1 relevant science subject; or
3. Certificate in a related field: Pass with minimum CGPA 2.00 and pass in Mathematics in SPM/equivalent; or
4. Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government

and 

International students must pass:

• IELTS with a minimum band of 5.0; or
• TOEFL with a minimum score of 550; or 
• Pass English in Cambridge/Edexcel GCE A-Level
• MUET minimum Band 2 (Malaysians Only)
