Course Intake
Overview
Green Building programme aims to introduce students with a comprehensive range of educational exposure and experiences in terms of sustainable building. This programme, like its namesake, provides the knowledge in sustainable development and green building philosophies that causes the least impact towards the environment. Students will be prompted to apply critical thinking and professional development for them to grow into green professionals.
By completing this course the students will be able to:
- Demonstrate strong fundamental knowledge in the discipline of green building
- Apply theoretical and practical knowledge and demonstrate competence in green building
- Understand and evaluate the current knowledge and studies in environmental sustainability
- Communicate effectively in verbal and written form with individuals from different socio-cultural organizational
- Demonstrate knowledge in the professional code of conduct and adhere to professional responsibility and ethical behaviour toward green policy
- Apply problem solving and team working skills relevant to the implementation of sustainable technologies and policies
- Use critical thinking and reasoning to manage ambiguities and gaps in knowledge at the end of the pursuit of lifelong learning in academic and career development

3 Credits in SPM / O level / equivalent inclusive of Mathematics

Certificate in any related field and other equivalent field
Career Prospects
Students who have attained a Diploma in Green Building may pursue a Degree program in the same field, or any related fields by way of credit transfer to Year 2 in any local universities, or articulation to final year into a foreign university.
