Our Bachelor of Real Estate Management and Auction (Hons) prepares students with an in-depth understanding of real estate perspectives. Students are taught essential knowledge and skills in business, real estate and auction that permit them to practice as registered valuers, estate agents, property managers, property developers, property investment consultants and auctioneers. Students will attain professional skills to ensure ethical and legal practices are adhered to.

Real estate activities cover not only the property market but includes property development, property finance & investment, property law, property management, and business and property valuation. Students can register with The Board of Valuers, Appraisers, Estate Agents and Property Managers Malaysia, and can apply for licenses to practice as auctioneers from the respective State authorities. The curriculum is designed in line with the requirements of Board of Valuers, Appraisers, Estate Agents and Property Managers Malaysia (BoVAEA), The Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM) and The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, United Kingdom (RICS).

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Malaysian Students

• STPM Grade C (GP 2.00) in any two (2) subjects
• Diploma Pass or Pass Advanced Diploma (Level 4 or 5, KKM)
• STAM Jayyid
• UEC Grade B in five (5) subjects
• Foundation/ Matriculation CGPA of 2.00 out of 4.00
• A-LEVEL Pass with Grade D in two subjects
• Australian Matriculation ATAR 65
• International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB) 24 points across six subjects

Additional Requirements
*Pass Mathematics and English at SPM level or any equivalent qualification

NOTES
Specific requirements at SPM level can be waived should the grades obtained at the STPM / STAM / Diploma / Matriculation / Foundation are equivalent or higher.

International Students

• A Level with 2 Principal passes or equivalent, recognised by Malaysian Government or fulfil any other entry requirements that are recognised by the University Senate; AND
• IELTS Band 5.5/ TOEFL 550

English Competency Requirements

All international students are bound to the English Competency requirement set by the University and the Malaysian Qualification Agency except those who are:

• From countries where English is the official language; OR

???????ASSESSMENTS

Assessments under the Bachelor of Real Estate Management and Auction (Honours) are varied; they are based on either full coursework (100%) or a combination of coursework and final examination. The most common combination to be found is 60% coursework and 40% for final examination. Classes are held face-to-face, and include lectures and tutorials (offline and online). Our students are expected to demonstrate their understanding through several forms of assessments, including but not limited to discussions, essays, reports, quizzes, site visits, projects and written tests.

Students are expected to undergo six (6) long semesters and two (2) short semesters, over a span of three years. In the final semester, students will go for a 20-week Industrial training undertaking any role relevant to real estate management and auction. At the end of the programme, student would have completed 121 credits and graduate with a MQA-accredited Bachelor’s degree
