Course Overview

Entry Requirements

Applicants may be admitted through several recognised academic pathways. Candidates who have completed a Matriculation or Foundation programme must have passed with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 out of 4.00, while certain entry routes require a higher minimum CGPA of 2.80, or an equivalent qualification. Applicants with STPM or equivalent qualifications must obtain at least a Grade C (GPA 2.00) in any two subjects, along with a pass in Mathematics and a pass in English at the SPM level or an equivalent qualification. Those holding STAM are required to achieve a minimum grade of Jayyid, together with a credit in Mathematics and a pass in English at the SPM level or equivalent. Diploma holders may apply with a Diploma (MQF Level 4) or an Advanced Diploma (MQF Level 5) with a minimum CGPA of 2.00, while applicants with Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM), Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM), or Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM) must achieve a minimum CGPA of 2.50, subject to University Senate approval. Some admission routes require a higher minimum CGPA of 2.80, with an overall CGPA requirement of 2.80. In addition, applicants must satisfy the English language requirement, where local students are required to achieve MUET Band 2.0, and international students must obtain MUET Band 3.0, IELTS with a minimum overall band score of 5.5, or an equivalent recognised English proficiency qualification.
