Overview of Master of Science in Management in AIMST University Malaysia

MASTER OF SCIENCE IN MANAGEMENT

The objective of the master programme is to provide graduate students the opportunity to enhance their knowledge through independent research in a selected branch of management in a discipline or a multi-disciplinary field. The focused research and training in the programme will enable the graduate students to be competent in handling basic or applied research in their chosen specialties.

Participants embarking on this programme will enhance their research management skills in the areas of management studies, produce holistic individuals with wisdom and visionary thoughts in managing changes within a dynamic business environment, produce graduates who can apply business theory & practice, and at the same time contribute to the larger community.

Components of the Programme

Research, Thesis Examination, and Viva-voce.

A candidate may be required to supplement the research program by attendance at, a formal enrolment in additional* subject if it is considered a necessary adjunct to the course.

*Pre-requisite courses: Research Methodology.

QUALIFICATION	ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS
	MQA requirement: Masters by Research & Masters by Mixed Mode: CGPA > 2.75, for 2.75 >CGPA> 2.5 can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment. Masters by coursework: Min CGPA of 2.5 *Int Student- TOEFL Min Score 550 or IELTS Min Score 6.0. If No Language Criteria then need to pass Language Placement Examination at University Level
Degrees	Bachelor’s Degree in a related field from AIMST or other institutions recognized by the University Senate · Minimum CGPA of 2.75 or equivalent, as accepted by the HEP Senate · Equivalent with minimum CGPA of 2.50 & not meeting CGPA of 2.75 can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment · Equivalent not meeting CGPA of 2.50 can be accepted subject to a minimum of 5 years working experience in a relevant field. An English Certification of IELTS minimum 6.0/TOEFL (International applicants only)
