As for the Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing, it is specifically designed to equip students with the basics of accounting, finance, computing, quantitative analysis, English, and economics besides a strong knowledge in marketing and management and their application to the real business environment. The courses offered are being specifically structured to produce excellent professionals who have in-depth knowledge of marketing management and are capable to bring out excellent ideas especially in the Malaysian business environment. The courses offered are being specifically planned to provide students with strong theoretical and practical knowledge in marketing before they can pursue on to the factual world of the marketing sectors or go on with their studies to obtain the Master's Degree in Marketing or in other MBA programmes.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

For Malaysian Students:

  • Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM)
    Pass STPM/equivalent with minimum CGPA 2.00 or grade C for two (2) subjects and Pass Mathematics and Bahasa Inggeris at SPM Level.

     
  • Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM)
    Pass STAM with a minimum grade of Jayyid (taken within 2 years prior to application) and Credit in Bahasa Melayu, Pass Mathematics and Bahasa Inggeris at SPM Level.

     
  • A-Level
    Pass A-Level with Gred C in 2 subjects. 

     
  • Matriculation
    Pass Ministry of Education (MOE) Matriculation programme with minimum CGPA of 2.00.

     
  • Foundation
    Pass Foundation Studies with minimum CGPA of 2.00.

     
  • Diploma
    Pass Diploma programme with minimum CGPA of 2.00 from recognized institution by Government of Malaysia.

     
  • Diploma Vocational Malaysia (DVM)
    Pass DVM in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 AND Pass Sijil Vokasional Malaysia (SVM) / An Academic Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.33 or higher/ A Vocational CGPA of 3.67 or higher and competent in all vocational modules/ A credit in Bahasa Melayu (SVM 1104)/ **Cohort 2013 onwards also need to get an exemption from obtaining a passing grade for Sejarah at SPM level. 

     
  • UEC (Unified Examination Certificate)
    Pass UEC with a minimum of grade B in 5 subjects.

     
  • International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB)
    A pass in IB with minimum of 30 points.

     
  • HND(UK) Diploma
    Pass HND in related field with minimum CGPA 2.00.

     
  • SAME/WACE/AUSMAT
    Pass South Australian Matriculation (SAM) and South Australian Matriculation (AUSMAT) with 70%, or South Australia Certificate of Education (SACE) and Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) with Band 2 in 2 subjects.

     
  • Others
    Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Government of Malaysia.

ENGLISH REQUIREMENTS

For Malaysian Students:

Students have taken MUET before enrol. However, students are required to complete MUET during the duration of the study (before graduation). IELTS (5.0 and above) or TOEFL (500 and above) or TOEFL Internet-Based Test (42 and above) is also accepted.

  • MUET – Malaysia University English Test
    Achieve Band 1 and above

For International Students:

International students are required to have one of the English proficiency scores stated below to enrol in UNITEN. Bachelor students who do not fulfil this English requirement are required to sit for the Intensive English Programme (IEP) and pass the requirement below before starting their Bachelor programme.

  • MUET – Malaysia University English Test
    Achieve Band 3 and above

     
  • IELTS – International English Language Testing System
    Achieve 5.5 and above

     
  • TOEFL - Test of English as a Foreign Language
    Achieve 500 (TOEFL) or 46 (TOEFL Internet Based Test) and above
