Entry Requirement of Master of Environmental Engineering in Universiti Putra Malaysia Malaysia

For students from India

The applicant should possess a Bachelor’s degree (with honours) in a relevant field with a minimum CGPA of 3.000, or the applicant without sufficient academic qualification can be admitted into the programme subject to any other requirement specified by the Faculty/Institute. An applicant from a local public university who is in the final semester of his undergraduate study programme may be considered for provisional admission provided his current CGPA or its equivalent satisfies the graduate programme admission requirements. English Language Requirements: International English Language Testing Service (IELTS) Band 6.0; Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL), Paper Based - 550; 400 for Band 4.0 only for Malay language, Arabic, Chinese Literature, internet-based test (IBT)- 79-80.

For international students

The minimum requirement to enroll in this program is as follow:

a) Bachelor in the field of Engineering or Engineering Technology with a CGPA of 2.750/ Second Class Lower; or

b) Bachelor in the field of Engineering or Engineering Technology with a CGPA of 2.500/Second Class Lower with at least three (3) years of working experience in the field of study that is being applied for; or

c) Bachelor in any related field of Science or Technology with a CGPA of 3.000/Second Class Upper; or

d) Bachelor in any related field of Science or Technology with a CGPA of 2.750/ Second Class Lower with at least three

(3) Years of working experience in the field of study that is being applied for; or

e) A qualification equivalent to a Bachelor's degree recognized by the professional bodies and MQA
