Course Outline of Master of Emergency Response and Planning in Universiti Putra Malaysia Malaysia

Students enrolling under this program must fulfill 40 credits of courses to graduate. The credit distributions for compulsory courses, elective courses and dissertation are as follows:

Compulsory Courses 25 credits

Elective Courses 9 credits

Dissertation 6 credits

For students from India

The applicant should possess a Bachelor’s degree (with honours) in a relevant field with a minimum CGPA of 3.000, or the applicant without sufficient academic qualification can be admitted into the programme subject to any other requirement specified by the Faculty/Institute. An applicant from a local public university who is in the final semester of his undergraduate study programme may be considered for provisional admission provided his current CGPA or its equivalent satisfies the graduate programme admission requirements. English Language Requirements: International English Language Testing Service (IELTS) Band 6.0; Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL), Paper Based - 550; 400 for Band 4.0 only for Malay language, Arabic, Chinese Literature, internet-based test (IBT)- 79-80.

For international students

a) Bachelor in the field of Engineering or Engineering Technology with a CGPA of 2.750/ Second Class

Lower or;

b) Bachelor in the field of Non-Engineering or Non-Engineering Technology with a CGPA of 3.000/

Second Class Upper;

c) Bachelor in any related field of with a CGPA of 2.500/Second Class lower with at least three (3) years

of working experience in the field of study that us being applied for or;

d) A qualification equivalent to a Bachelor's degree recognized by the professional bodies and MQA
