Taylor’s Digital Media Production degree exposes students to a broad spectrum of filmmaking areas, including script writing, video production, editing, audio recording, directing, and producing, and digital content creation which aims to inform, entertain and shape society at large.
The Digital Media Production degree is validated by the University of the West of England (UWE), and upon successful completion of the programme graduates are awarded two certificates; one from Taylor’s University and another from UWE. Students will also be given the option to transfer to UWE in the final year.
Students will get to use top-notch facilities such as the audio recording & video editing laboratories, as well as the multi-camera television studio, working with up-to-date software while getting hands-on practical experience with relevant industry-standard equipment.
In addition, students will undergo a 12 week internship with their choice of production houses, broadcasting firms or media agencies, which will provide invaluable real life experience and a chance to put into practice skills gained from the programme.
