The Diploma in Early Childhood Education programme prepares students to become qualified Early Childhood Educators who contribute to the first phase of children’s formal education.

This programme is committed to providing students with the fundamental knowledge, skills and competencies in stimulating young children’s physical, social skills, emotional, cognitive and creative development.

Our programme integrates the education theories and best practices to enhance students’ ability to design and implement appropriate learning activities for young children. In addition, our classes are taught by faculty members with professional experience in Malaysian education landscape.

This Diploma programme prepares students to become educators of young children in a variety of academic settings. Our students are trained to assess children’s learning development of multiple backgrounds, and to promote healthy and nutritional diet to the children.

Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM) Level 3	Malaysian Skill Certificate in Early Childhood Education / Pre-School and SPM with credit in one (1) subject

Assessment

Assessment of Diploma in Early Childhood Education in Quest International University Perak Malaysia

Students’ abilities are gauged both through continuous assessments and a final exam. The continuous assessment component comprises tests/quizzes, mid-semester examinations and projects/assignments which accounts for an allocation of about 40-60% marks depending on the course. The balance of the marks are allocated for the final examination
