  • The design, operation and validation of accounting systems.
  • The provision and analysis of accounting and other financial information and data for a variety of decision-making, accountability, managerial, regulatory, legal, and resource allocation purposes.
  • The design, operation and evaluation of financial systems and financial instruments.
  • Cognitive skills of critical thinking, analysis and synthesis. This includes the capability to identify assumptions, evaluate statements, to detect false logic and reasoning, to identify implicit values, to define terms adequately and generalise appropriately.
  • Effective problem solving and decision making using appropriate qualitative and quantitative skills, including identifying, formulating and solving problems in the areas of accounting and finance. The ability to create, evaluates and assess a range of options, and apply ideas and knowledge to a range of situations.

  1. STPM : A minimum of Grade C (CGPA2.0) in any 2 subjects; and pass in Mathematics at SPM Level.
  2. UEC : 5 credits (Minimum Grade B)
  3. STAM : A minimum grade of Jayyid; and pass in Mathematics at SPM Level.
  4. Diploma : Any qualification equivalent to Diploma in Accounting or related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.50
  5. Foundation : A minimum CGPA of 2.50 and credit in Mathematics at SPM Level
  6. Any other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Government of Malaysia
  7. English Requirements : IETLS score of 6.0 OR its equivalent
